Bazza West creates a powerful new painting titled, ‘The World Is Crying’.
Sir David Attenborough’s latest documentary, ‘A Life On Our Planet’ struck a chord with television viewers, including the MFPA’s talented mouth painter, Bazza West, who was inspired to create a powerful new painting titled, ‘The World Is Crying’.
The work he produced reflects a double sadness felt by Bazza. The world is crying because of the devastation being inflicted on the earth and the artist’s personal concerns regarding the wider problems he sees affecting the world around him right now.
To create the work, Bazza used a photo of his own eye as a reference. If you look closely, you can see he has attempted to capture the world outside his window by using its reflection in his painting of the eye. The emotive imagery received wide public acclaim, both through his and the MFPA’s social media channels and was seen by over 12,000 people.
Doubtless bringing a tear to the eyes of many who saw it.
